Dear Patients:

For almost 38 years I have had the privilege and the pleasure of practicing dentistry here in Bangor. The years have gone by quickly and it hardly seems possible that it isOur-staff-slider now time to retire. Judy and I are very excited that we will be able to spend more time with our children and their growing families. We have eight children and fifteen grandchildren. They all live out of state except one grandson here in Maine. We are looking forward to traveling and spending this precious time with family.

I remember when Judy and I first opened the office back in September 1978, each new patient joining our budding practice was such an exciting event. In those first few weeks when a new patient would call the office for an appointment, Judy would always play it cool but be dancing in her seat as she checked to “see what we had available” on our wide-open schedule.

As our practice grew over the years to more than 18,000 patients, that excitement and fulfillment we felt at the start only increased as we got to know each of you and your families. We had the pKid-Friendlyrivilege of watching your teens come into their own throughout orthodontia visits, and seeing our younger patients grow up, get married and return with their own children to the office

It has truly been a joy and privilege to serve you– many of whom we hold as our nearest and dearest friends. We have so appreciated your encouragement and support over the years. It has been an honor to be a part of your lives and your beautiful smiles.

The office has officially closed with my retirement on May 25, 2016. Judy and I thank you all for your business, trust and kindness over the past four decades.
